HOW TO GET TO LISBON

  
Foreign students/professors can arrive in Lisbon:
- by plane, to the Lisbon International Airport, situated in the north of the city;
- by train, to Gare do Oriente or Santa Apolónia station;
- by bus,  to Gare do Oriente or Arco do Cego station).

FROM LISBON TO EGAS MONIZ BY PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

You can take the train (Fertagus train) from Roma-Areeiro, Entre Campos, Sete-Rios or Campolide to Pragal station, the first station after crossing the Tagus River. From there, you can take the light rail (Metro Transportes do Sul – MST) to Universidade, with stop in Monte de Caparica.

 

By Public Transportation

 

Alternatively, you can take the boat from Terreiro do Paço or Cais do Sodré to Cacilhas (the crossing takes about 15 minutes). In Cacilhas you can take the TST bus to Marisol, Fonte da Telha or Costa da Caparica, with stop in Monte de Caparica. You can also take the boat from Belém station to Porto Brandão (the crossing takes about 12 minutes) and then the TST bus to Monte de Caparica
 

FROM LISBON TO EGAS MONIZ BY CAR:

Take the motorway A2 to Setúbal (A2-Sul). Immediately after crossing the 25 de Abril Bridge, turn right to ’Caparica’ and, after the petrol station, turn right again to ‘Monte de Caparica’. Afterwards, follow the itinerary indicated in the map below.
